[Peko doesn't mean for her brows to crease in concern the way they do. In fact, she intends quite the opposite; she wishes she could laugh along with his little joke. She knows it might make him feel better. And it isn't as though she doesn't find Prompto funny in any other situation, though she's not much of a laugher then, either. But her worry and need to take the situation seriously take precedent despite how a smile might offer comfort. That's what makes her stoic face falter, what makes her curse herself in her head for making a face at all. She's undoubtedly made it tougher, or worse, awkward.
But there's no time to lament it. She's already shoving down the feeling, watching the path, or what she can see of it. It's not good, but perhaps Peko shouldn't be so blunt. She opts for;]
