[Maya's been hiding a secret for a little while- a secret that's got her in a bit of a pickle. The kind of pickle that has her up again and thinking in the night, sitting on the entry ledge of the open side door of the Aloha Oe and staring at the moon.
It was just another reminder how stuck they were here that other monsters had reproduced, and it'd been more than a year since anyone had gone and disappeared. Though the fog drew in newcomers, nobody truly left these days, and monsters had found their stride with humans and each other, to the contentment of the fog god. In some respect, maybe Maya should have expected something like this to happen to her by now-- but between still questioning her own maturity and the built-in worries of her past, springing into monster motherhood wasn't really on her radar.
Now she faces reality under the low moonlight, illuminated mostly by her own glowing patterning. She knows, now, that she's pregnant, and it's brought all sorts of thoughts to the surface. Thoughts of her birthright and duty to her clan, thoughts of her beloved Pearl, of the things that are probably better off without her, she assumes. She thinks of the kind of relationships that life promised her, of men who loved briefly and left, of children who might one day grow to hate each other for the sake of an heirdom. She thinks of Dandy, who she knows is probably wondering where she is, who doesn't know all the thoughts in her head or even why she's been off lately, even if he's noticed.
Maya has to tell him. She can't just not tell him, even if the anxiety of having to do so is making her nauseous. (Her least favorite part of this whole endeavor.) Maya's got plenty of other reasons to be scared but right now the ones that itch the most are the fears she'll be alone through any part of this-- now, when she's gotten to like having Dandy around. There was a time when in preparation for what she thought would happen, Maya might be able to pretend it wouldn't bother her if he up and left-- but that time was long gone, and she's quite aware she'd miss him sorely.
All the same, the little light of hope that's always been in her hasn't been fully dampened by Ryslig just yet. There's a change that things might work out, whatever working out may be, in a world with completely different rules. There's a chance things won't be terrible. There's a chance Dandy won't run off.
And, should Dandy go out in the middle of the night to figure out why his girlfriend is out humming to the moon instead of cuddling him, there's a chance Maya won't bite her tongue.]
[Dandy always knew there would come a day when he'd finally stop travelling and actually settle, he just never thought that day would be forced on him. Living in Ryslig was the kind of eyeopener he never wanted, the kind that told him he can't actually do whatever the hell he wants, no matter how many times he got away with it in the past. The never ending anger and frustration he put towards trying to leave has finally simmered into a reluctant acceptance, and Dandy's decided to put his energy into looking at the positives.
Like how as far as being stuck on a planet where people are turned into horrible monsters goes, becoming a mermaid is definitely not a bad thing. Dandy loved being a mermaid and he's given up trying to figure out if that's how he really felt or if that's just the transformation talking. "Dandy is always Dandy" Maya would tell him, so if he's still Dandy while thinking these things, then they have to be his thoughts. ...Right?
That was the thing though, Maya herself was pretty much the selling point of Ryslig. Who would have thought that after all his years of travel, it was getting stranded on a planet that made him find someone who truly loved him for who he was. A part of it might have to do with the fact that he actually had to stay on the planet and therefore had more time to do things like...get to know people, but really what were the odds someone he'd connect with so well would just so happen to get dragged here too? The fear that she might possibly leave him for someone else never crossed his mind, not after all the times she stuck with him after things would go to shit, or he'd be stuck as a giant monster, or whatever Ryslig wanted to throw something at them. It really seemed like she was in it for the long haul.
Which is probably why when he finally notices she isn't in bed with him, he isn't all too worried. A very sleepy Dandy rolls from the comfort of his blankets and makes a very lazy march around the house to see if he can find her.
No? Not here. Midnight walks are cool. If she didn't glow in the dark, he might've missed her completely and chalked it up to some sort of nighttime dip in the lake, but nah. There she is, just chilling in his van.
Dandy doesn't bother to dress himself up just to go meet her outside, it's a waste of effort, he's got pants and that's the best he can do. ...He's also got a pillow, which he playfully throws at her when he finally reaches her.]
What, I wasn't invited to the sleepover? It's my damn bus...
[His own glow is pretty hard to miss, so he's hoping he didn't spook her while assaulting her so viciously.]
[The pillow gets Maya right in the face, and when it falls into her waiting hands it reveals a sly smile. It's harder and harder to be nervous with Dandy, even when worry clings to the back of her throat.
Dandy hasn't let her down, after all.]
I figured you'd find your way here. [read: she'd hoped.]
Aaaactually, I'm glad you came out.
[Hugging the pillow to her chest and rendering any supportive use of it... Useless, Maya lays back on the platform, legs still hanging over the edge. In the shadow of the otherwise dark van, the glow on her cheeks only seems brighter.]
[The way she catches it with her face only confirms her skills as a true pillow warrior, and Dandy can only fall more in love.
Absolutely making himself at home - again, it IS his van - Dandy casually sits himself next to her, nearly throwing himself there just to make a show of it. He smirks back at her, glad to see she looks okay, like she didn't come out here just to have a secret cry or something.
...Not that there was anything wrong with that, either, but he definitely prefers the chiller atmosphere.]
I'll have you know I am incredibly exhausted.
[But the look on his face says he'll fight through it if that's what she wants. Surely an experienced hunter such as himself can tough it out~]
[For the first time, Maya's actually mentally present in being away from Ryslig. And she's not the only one-- a crowd of humans, some recognisable and others less so, all who remember being made monsters, found themselves in a conference center, being greeted with keys and laptops and room numbers.
She'd been lucky to find Dandy fairly quickly afterward, gleeful that no funky memory business was up, and Maya'd damn near dragged Dandy to the closest between their assigned rooms to try and figure out what was happening outside of the earshot of the strange citizens and their pamphlets.
Now, behind the security of a locked door, Maya takes a moment to breathe and stare at her hands, front and back. She sits on the room's bed, pulling her sleeves out of the way as if to inspect every inch.]
Is this really for real?
[You know, like, really? Maya turns her attention to Dandy, finally able to take the time to dwell on his humanity as well. She doesn't say anything immediately, but also does nothing to hide her glancing him up and down.]
[Funny enough, the being-pulled-and-dragged-around-a-brand-new-world thing didn't seem to phase Dandy, at least not at first. His whole living with the flow mentality kicked into full gear and he just went along for the ride this crazy new place had in store for him.
Which was apparently being human again.
And in a room, alone with Maya.
He hasn't said much since it all happened, in fact he looked downright bored the entire time, but it's only when no one's looking does he like to show his emotions. Seeing a very human Maya is almost...nostalgic. It's difficult for him to explain, but a softness hits his face as he watches her examine her hands.
There you are.
It's the same lost girl he saw standing in the rain years ago, the same one who talked to him about cool TV shows and noticed his omamori. Who didn't make fun of him or try to make him feel stupid, who somehow didn't even yell at him when he threw a chair like an idiot.
It definitely felt like her "normal," but Dandy's stomach starts to drop when it slowly begins to dawn on him that his "normal" wasn't what she was introduced to. She's never even seen a picture of him human, let alone the for real deal. Even then, Dandy's having a hard time considering this as his "normal" to begin with, the idea almost feels forced. He may be human, but a lot has changed, enough where if anyone from his past saw him, they probably wouldn't recognize him. His hair was still left undone and much longer than he'd like it to be, his upper half more muscular thanks to a life of swimming.
He was different, a different Dandy. An idea that still terrifies him. Couldn't even be his original self, he's just some kind of byproduct of Ryslig's meddling. The softness that was once in his eyes contorts into confusion and...fear. He knows Maya isn't...like that, but the back of his mind starts to scream that he FUCKED THIS UP. A part of him even wants to see if he can sneak into the bathroom and at least attempt SOMETHING with his hair. Who even is he?]
Yeah, I guess...
[His voice is surprisingly soft, one of those rare moments where he holds back his usual...oomph. It's reserved.
Unsure.
If he were being honest, he can't stand the way she's looking at him right now, like he's just waiting for the disapproval. She hooked up with a mermaid for crying out loud. The flashy colors are gone, the fins, the webbing. It's like someone washed off all the glitz and glam, and everyone knows how much he loves that sort of flashy shit. It makes him feel so vulnerable, what could she possibly be thinking?!
[It’s true; this isn't normal for Maya. She's always known Dandy as flashy and finny, and with his haur not all pomped up, even the human version lacks a little flair. She doesn't mind, but the curiosity still shines in her eyes. She doesn't know him at his normal, but Maya doesn't mind what she does see, until she sees his expression and hears the tone of his voice.
He's probably disappointed, right? His mermaid girlfriend back to being a normal average cute girl and all. But she remembers the dumb things he's said about falling for her, and those memories keep the worries from being as big as they could be. Instead, as always, she focuses on Dandy's distress above her own.]
You're okay, right?
[She asks, putting her hands down and standing, and yet not stopping the behavior that got Dandy like this. Looking up and down his arms like she's never seen him before, fascinated. In yet another new world without her family or Nick, here's Dandy. Maybe he's not completely the same (though neither is she!) but he's recognizable, and if he's here with her, he must remember the same things she does, right?]
You kinda sound freaked out.
[Just saying.
But she looks those eyes up at his face now, almost coyly in the way she doesn't raise her head- like a pup trying to stay out of trouble.]
[The longer she keeps looking him over without saying anything about it, the more Dandy's panic seems to rise. What is she thinking? What is she thinking?! Good?? Bad??? He just wants to know!
If he still had fins, they'd probably be twitching, instead the nervous energy finds a new home in his fingers that rapidly begin to tap against his leg. Dandy doesn't even realize he's doing it, his whole world is an opinion he can't even hear right now.
You kinda sound freaked out.
Oh, does he?! Because it definitely gets worse when he can no longer contain himself and just explodes.]
Look, what you see is what you get, okay?! Take it or leave it!!
[Even though he's yelling, he doesn't sound...mad. No, that's still fear in his eyes. He just wants to get this over with, just let him know he looks like an idiot already, dammit!!]
[Kurain has a better view of the stars than the city- one thing Maya misses on the rare occasions she gets to visit Mia by train. Even though she misses her sister, there's something comforting about the crowd of stars that beam down their gentle lights on the mansion. They comfort her from Morgan's scolds of the day, from the harsh rules and lack of friendly faces. It had been a quiet ritual to sneak out after everyone had at least retired to their own houses (not that Morgan cared if Maya left the house at night, half hoping she'd wander into the dark and never return) until Dandy had started showing up at night.
Now-- or at least, when there wouldn't be days between his visits-- Maya had a bit to look forward to, even if Dandy seemed bound and determined to mess with her. Even troublesome company was company, right? And at least he couldn't see how disappointed she'd look on the days he didn't show up. For all he'd tease her, he didn't need to know that.
Tonight, just as she's gotten used to, she leaves Pearly where she sleeps in their shared room and tiptoes out through the winding way into the garden, climbs up the chimney of the outdoor oven, and hops down the wall to wander the village streets, keeping an eye out. Would Dandy show up today, or would she have the village night and all its cricket clicks and frog croaks to herself?]
[The village is so far away and nothing like the city, and honestly, good. Dandy would much rather waste the time it takes to get there than worry about things like school or be anywhere near his family. It was like an escape, it was quiet, people were usually in bed by time he got there.
No one would mess with him.
Except for one person.
All Dandy wanted to do was look at the stars and chill, but things can never be easy, can they? He's gotten used to Maya sneaking out to bug him, it's become routine, and it's not like he can stop someone from wanting to do the same damn thing as him. Escape. As much as he'd love to tell her to fuck off, it pretty much goes against everything he believes in.
People should just be able to do what they want, but for the life of him he can't figure out why she wants to hang out with him. Couldn't even be a hot chick, that's just his luck...]
Isn't it past your bedtime?
[Crickets are nice, but not nearly loud enough to mask the sounds of someone out and about. Dandy's learned her footsteps by now, she ain't slick.
He doesn't turn towards her though, she gets a nice view of his back as he stares up at the sky, his hands in his pockets. Maybe one day she'll get the hint and scram, but he highly doubts it. Again, it's just routine at this point. But geez, how much teasing can one girl take?]
[Caught again. Maya's no ninja. Her steps slow as she approaches, and she screws up her lips into a pout when she hears him speak. Stupid tall boy, hair and clothes all beautiful and dark, always teasing her. But his grumpy teases didn't sting as much as Morgan's mouth, weren't bitter enough to drive Maya away.]
Isn't it past your time, grandpa?
[She throws back. If he was so determined to rub in his being older (and looking it, as if it was her fault she still had a baby face, that no one in the city would ever take her for a teenage) then she'd rub it in, too.
And maybe, from her position behind him, she'd stare at the edges of his silhouette where the light hits. Maybe.]
[It's been about two days since tragedy struck Dandy and he found himself fucking dead. He thought biting the big one might've gotten rid of his problems, but no, they've only gotten worse. After a long and grueling process at the Yokai Center, Dandy's found the afterlife is being an adorable mascot animal and couldn't hate it more. What's worse is they expect you to work, it's the whole reason why he finds himself in this boring village anyhow, and now he's assigned to haunt some chick's house or whatever. To be honest, he wasn't paying too much attention. He's like 90% sure this is a punishment of some sort.
The first couple of days were spent people watching. The Maya girl was his assignment, but that didn't stop him from peeking in on everyone. When he got bored of that, the attention whore in him began knocking things over to see how people would react. No surprise, a village full of mediums blamed it on mischievous spirits.
Boring.
The third day and Dandy's already irritated. There's no way in hell he's gonna try to make friends with the other yokai hanging around, and the higher ups did give him some kind of stupid watch in case he "needed it." Boredom is probably a reason to give someone a magical device, right? Sadly the rules say he can only give it to the mousy girl, but he supposes it's better than nothing.
Having figured out schedules and whose room is where, Dandy waits until training time to place the watch on the girls' adorable storage chest. How quaint. He then ducks around it to hide, which really makes no sense considering he's already invisible. For now. He'll have to wait for her to come back, and despite KNOWING how long sessions can go, he still finds himself impatient.]
[Maya does return-- eventually. The training sessions can go long, and today is no exception apart from being one of the few days Maya is able to sneak off early without being caught. Perhaps Morgan might give her grief for it later, but for now she can slip into her's and Pearl's room and press her back against the door, letting out a sigh of relief. She's tired, and for a moment it shows in the slack of her shoulders.
Despite it, she strides right up to the little table in the room and pulls her phone out from under it. She drops to her knees in front of the table and clicks the phone on- sighing when she sees there's no new message. Maya starts opening a text, tapping on the keys of her phone.... and completely ignoring that box. She hasn't even seen there's anything on it. Millenials and their phones, man.]
[Dandy pulls on his hair and stomps a tiny foot when he sees things aren't going as perfectly as they did inside his head. Stupid...phones...!! He's so much cooler than a dumb ol cellphone, if only she realized what she's missing!! Too bad she can't hear his screaming, it's not like he can just tell her there's an all powerful device sitting RIGHT HERE for her.
...Or maybe he can.
Dandy quits his tantrum and focuses on the chest again, he'll just have to ghost it up and grab her attention another way. ...Which means rattling the damn thing like a maniac. He shakes it as hard as his little arms can, nearly causing the watch to slide off it. There, try ignoring this you oblivious mountain princess!!]
[It's been a long and weird road being friends with a yokai like Dandy. He certainly started out obnoxious, and is only marginally less so now, but haunting Kurain Mansion means that even with Morgan jailed, the mansion is less lonely. He's even pretty nice to Pearly and her yokai friends (less so those, but hey), making him a pretty acceptable housepartner.
Besides, Maya'd be lying if she pretended not to care about him deeply and trust him fairly well, too. Their bond makes him a fairly strong yokai when they work together, after all. It's totally only her deep friendship and adoration that has him hounding after him. He's been away for like, weeks, and is going around hiding now? She gets it, yokai have lives of their own-- but he should be spending time hanging out with her, okay.]
Daaan-dy. Are you in here?
[She checks the room with the TV first. Where else would he be?]
[Yokai life...could be better, but as far as getting stuck as an anime mascot animal goes, things haven't been the worst. It's been so long since someone's actually put up with his ass that Dandy's almost forgotten what it's like to have people care about him.
All it took was dying.
And that's his problem. Maya sure does act like she enjoys having him around, and Dandy can't deny the fluttering feeling he gets whenever she picks him up, or asks him to sleep with her, or just wants to be around him in general. For a moment, he truly believed he might actually have a chance with this girl!!
...And then he remembered he's a fucking dolphin puppy. Even though he's told her he was once one damn good looking human, all Maya's ever known him as is this...thing, how could he ever get with anyone looking this way?! He's her pet, her collectible monster she uses to fight against other monsters, her stupid sidekick character. The last thing he is is the love interest.
So it's a good thing yokai life is so weird. Dandy may have given up if he hadn't learned that plenty of yokai take on human disguises. Hell, it's a staple to some of the reeeeally old stories from back in the day. But he's not a kitsune or any other sort of shapeshifter, he can't just make that shit happen.
That's why he went on his journey. Magical disguise leaves were pretty easy to get your hands on, but they weren't enough for Dandy. They only made you appear human, and that's only to other humans, yokai still saw you as the little gremlin you truly were. Even if they couldn't, HE'D still look and feel like the little gremlin HE is, and there's no way he's kissing this girl with a fish snoot-
Ahem, he means...there's no way he isn't getting the full human experience. He needed something with stronger magic, and eventually, he found what he was looking for. Time to give it a test run.]
Oh hey, when'd you get here?
[Talk about good timing, he's in the TV room, but it's totally just because that's where the Mirapo dropped him off. Teleporters can't be choosers.]
[Maya chirps in response from halfway through the door-- before her eyes widen and she thinks about it for a second. She looks side to side, points where the mirapo spat him out and then twisted back into nothingness and--]
[Maya grosses her little ghost arms and brings one paw to her chin, permanent smile turned into a pensive frown as she contemplates. The Gengar and her partner are on an important mission; finding a gabite scale for a shinx.]
Where are we gonna find Gabite, again...? I mean, getting one to lend us a scale is probably the easy part here.
I dunno about you, but if someone asked me for somethin' off my body, I'd tell 'em to scram.
[Dandy holds out the map and looks over it like it's a chore. Yeah yeah, save the babies, what a drag. He definitely would've preferred a mission with a bigger prize at stake, he doubts two kids have much cash.
AND YET, he still took the mission.]
....Hold on a sec- What's a Gabite again...? [/human] Don't we...know a guy like that from like, a loooooong ass time ago?
[He pokes a claw at his map, as if it's all coming back to him again. That's right, when they were kids, they went into that stupid mine and got ambushed by some kinda dragon called that. Damn, that was ages ago... Must've been their first mission together and everything. Gabite ended up being chill in the end, but Dandy doesn't doubt he might blow up again. Guy was overprotective over his gems, who even knows how he is about his scales.]
We're gonna have to hike it back to Serene Village and see if he's still around... Man, it's been awhile...
[A lot of things go wrong in a weird place where you're suddenly a cute cartoon animal and not a person, but no one was really expecting a traditional Equestria party, held long before any human weirdos started showing up, to go quite as wrong as it did last night. It's why Maya's visiting Dandy at his pony-government-assigned housing to check up on him. Things weren't exactly going great before everything went crazy, but Maya's sure getting injured didn't help Dandy's night.
Maya did want him to enjoy his time, after all. They have so much fun together, even trapped in horse and griffon bodies. He laughs at her jokes, he plays along with her-- she'd wanted the dance to be fun for him, too, but that just wasn't how it worked out. Still, Dandy's one of her closest friends here, and she's gonna make sure he's okay.]
Heeeey, Dandy!
[She calls out while she enters, uninvited, of course, which is much easier to do when everything is built for animals that don't have hands.]
[Dandy's room is...special. Like everything else in this horrible universe, it's bright and colorful, but at least by his choice. Palm trees and beach scenes are painted lovingly on the walls, the only comfort he gets as he lies pathetically in his hammock.
Even on pretty pony planet, Dandy can't bring himself to sleep in a bed.
The party was one of the few things he was actually looking forward to, showing off in front of a bunch of fancy pants horse bastards, eating all their food, being a bird, but noooooo. For such a friendly looking world, there sure are a lot of things out there that want you dead.
Well, looks like they won, because death is totally how he feels right now.]
[Bonds in Aefenglom are pretty vital, and as someone who's had to be attuned to energy before she even arrived here, Maya's particularly understanding of how witches and monsters need conduits between them. It all makes sense to her, despite any facade she puts up of not taking it seriously.
But it's this very knowledge that makes Maya so worried about Dandy; her friend has gone so long without even contemplating bonds, it would seem, and who knew when his time would run out? What if Dandy, her action-movie buddy, someone who actually found her funny, went feral? He barely even looked like he realised time was passing, and yet, it still was.
More often than not, Maya'd just tried to push away the thought; she believes in him, and surely he'd bond with someone sooner or later. But as the weeks go on and Dandy only seems all the more closed off, Maya finds herself more and more worried.
That worry peaks when, on a full moon, when witches are most vulnerable and monsters are their most monstrous, Maya just can't seem to find Dandy around his usual haunts or even at the days' obligatory jamjar cr event. On a night like this, the deductions are simple; if Dandy's been struggling with his lack of bonds, she's most likely to find him holed up at home. And well, if he i>isn't having problems, at least she can just pass off the worrying on the plate of party snacks she's brought with her for him. Well, mostly for him, anyway.
Just outside his apartment, Maya bounces on her toes a few times before knocking, psyching herself up.]
Hey, Dandy? Are you in there?
[Always polite, gotta announce her presence first.]

Ryslig - Turnback - Felfri
I guess we're... back to normal, huh?
no subject
God, she makes this human shit look so easy.]
no subject
But she looks those eyes up at his face now, almost coyly in the way she doesn't raise her head- like a pup trying to stay out of trouble.]
no subject

SMALL STARS - childhood frienemy AU
Would Dandy show up today, or would she have the village night and all its cricket clicks and frog croaks to herself?]
no subject
But geez, how much teasing can one girl take?]
no subject
Isn't it past your time, grandpa?
[She throws back. If he was so determined to rub in his being older (and looking it, as if it was her fault she still had a baby face, that no one in the city would ever take her for a teenage) then she'd rub it in, too.
And maybe, from her position behind him, she'd stare at the edges of his silhouette where the light hits. Maybe.]

Yokai Watch AU let's DO THIS
The first couple of days were spent people watching.
C'mon, c'mon...!!
[It's not like he's lonely or anything baka.]
no subject
Despite it, she strides right up to the little table in the room and pulls her phone out from under it. She drops to her knees in front of the table and clicks the phone on- sighing when she sees there's no new message. Maya starts opening a text, tapping on the keys of her phone.... and completely ignoring that box. She hasn't even seen there's anything on it. Millenials and their phones, man.]
no subject

Yokai AU number 2
Besides, Maya'd be lying if she pretended not to care about him deeply and trust him fairly well, too. Their bond makes him a fairly strong yokai when they work together, after all. It's totally only her deep friendship and adoration that has him hounding after him. He's been away for like, weeks, and is going around hiding now? She gets it, yokai have lives of their own-- but he should be spending time hanging out with her, okay.]
Daaan-dy. Are you in here?
[She checks the room with the TV first. Where else would he be?]
no subject
Teleporters can't be choosers.]
no subject
[Maya chirps in response from halfway through the door-- before her eyes widen and she thinks about it for a second. She looks side to side, points where the mirapo spat him out and then twisted back into nothingness and--]
Was that always there, or--
[nevermind.]

PMD AU (Gengar & Zoroark)
[Maya grosses her little ghost arms and brings one paw to her chin, permanent smile turned into a pensive frown as she contemplates. The Gengar and her partner are on an important mission; finding a gabite scale for a shinx.]
Where are we gonna find Gabite, again...? I mean, getting one to lend us a scale is probably the easy part here.
no subject
Man, it's been awhile...
no subject
[Not that Maya sounds surprised by his perspective. But-]
Oh yeah! You're right. That was our first mission together, huh?
[She's back to that devilish grin again.]
That brings back memories. You were such a fluffy little goofball.
I can't wait to get back there, now!

my little jamjar au 1
Maya did want him to enjoy his time, after all. They have so much fun together, even trapped in horse and griffon bodies. He laughs at her jokes, he plays along with her-- she'd wanted the dance to be fun for him, too, but that just wasn't how it worked out. Still, Dandy's one of her closest friends here, and she's gonna make sure he's okay.]
Heeeey, Dandy!
[She calls out while she enters, uninvited, of course, which is much easier to do when everything is built for animals that don't have hands.]
Are you awake yet? How are you doing?
no subject
Even on pretty pony planet, Dandy can't bring himself to sleep in a bed.
The party was one of the few things he was actually looking forward to, showing off in front of a bunch of fancy pants horse bastards, eating all their food, being a bird, but noooooo. For such a friendly looking world, there sure are a lot of things out there that want you dead.
Well, looks like they won, because death is totally how he feels right now.]
Just leave me here to die.
[He hurt his wing.]

Well, okay, if you insist.

aef au feral-stuff
